National Centre for Disability Advocacy
Established in 2022, the National Centre for Disability Advocacy (NCDA) has been funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS).
The aim of the NCDA is to improve access to, and the quality of, disability advocacy services, for independent disability advocacy organisations who are funded by the Department of Social Services (DSS) ‘National Disability Advocacy Program’ (NDAP). There are currently 60 NDAP funded providers who are located all over Australia in every state and territory.This function forms part of the Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031, by introducing good practice service delivery models.
