Capacity Building aims to increase and sustain the ability of the sector
to service and represent its community.
The National Centre for Disability Advocacy (NCDA) is funded to strengthen the disability advocacy sector by engaging in capacity building activities.
Including:
Developing and providing training resources;
Sharing strategies and best practice approaches; and
Co-ordinating networks and forums for advocates and managers to increase collaboration, as well as build and share knowledge.
The NCDA is focused on engaging, building, and championing the work that the disability advocacy sector is doing throughout Australia. In the spirit of co-design, the NCDA believes the best outcomes are delivered when all stakeholders are working towards a common goal, this being a strong and united disability advocacy sector across Australia.
