Can you believe we’re in May already!
This month, we want to let you know about changes we’re making to the Capacity Tracker. During April, we updated the questions in the Tracker and made some of them compulsory. This will ensure that we are collecting as much meaningful information about waitlist capacity and service pressure as possible.
We are pleased to see that, after updating the questions and contacting capacity reporters, more than 22 organisations updated their capacity for March. The data shows that most organisations currently have capacity to take on new clients through NDAP funding. Over 50% of organisations reported that the average wait time to receive advocacy is under 4 weeks.
Capacity in the NDIS Appeals space is more limited. 5 out of 17 organisations reported that they do not have capacity to take on new clients. Another 2 organisations are only taking on urgent matters.
To keep this momentum going, a reminder that it is now time to report your capacity for April!
