As we wrap up our final newsletter for 2025, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone across the advocacy sector for your commitment, collaboration, and hard work this year. It’s been a year of challenges, but also one of real progress and collective achievement.
We also want to take a moment to acknowledge the feedback many of you have shared about the Capacity Tracker. We know it hasn’t operated as smoothly or effectively as any of us had hoped. Your honesty and insights have been invaluable, and we want you to know that we’ve heard you.
Over the holiday period, we’ll be taking the time to refine and strengthen the Capacity Tracker. We remain confident in its potential to improve our shared understanding of sector-wide capacity, unmet demand, and pressure points across organisations. To unlock that potential, we’re focusing on simplifying the user experience, improving data entry processes, and ensuring the tool is more intuitive and reliable.
Early next year, we’ll be relaunching an improved version of the Capacity Tracker, built from your feedback and tested with sector needs front of mind. To support the relaunch, we’ll also roll out new resources and offer workshops early next year. These will help build confidence in using the tracker and strengthen our collective approach and appreciation of data.
We will be getting together as a team in the next few weeks to start planning our events for next year. If you have anything you feel would benefit advocates sector-wide, we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you again for your support and engagement this year. We hope you get a chance to rest and recharge over the coming month.
